The aim of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is to bring more visitors to a website. More correctly, its aim is to be bring more of the right kind of visitors to the website.

SEO - What's involved?
A typical SEO programme consists of the following stages:
- Determine what customers are searching for
- Draw up a list of keywords
- Optimise pages on the website around the keywords
- Promote the website externally to increase the number of inbound links
