Gary Straughan

Not the easiest section to write... but since we've both come this far...

I joined Raychem in 1984 straight after college, and liked it so much that I stayed for 13 years. During that time, I moved from technical roles through to marketing & business development... from bases in the UK, France, Belgium and America.

Feeling ready for a change, I moved over to crazy world of IT in 1999 - just in time for dot-com bubble and burst. Not always a comfortable ride, but it provided the skills - especially the Systems Analysis skills - that I use every day in BRAINBOX.

Gary has an MBA from Cranfield & Lyon, a Diploma from the Institute of Marketing, and a Physics degree from UMIST.
